Жан Делош (Jean Deloche) - 19.09.1929 – 03.12.2019

Жан Делош - историк, специалист по фортификационным сооружениям и технологиям, применявшися в Индии, исследователь истории города Пондичерри.



С 1961 года Жан Делош начал карьеру учителя, а затем стал директором Alliance Française в Мадрасе.



С 1966 года Жан Делош работал в Ecole Française d'Extrême-Orient (EFEO).



Его первые работы были посвящены истории индийского транспорта и транспортных путей.



Он занимался исследованием военных сооружений и публикацией путешественников по Индии.
